After popular demand, we’ve created this bi-weekly article to bring you everything from staff updates to fun puzzles and fresh song recommendations. We're thrilled at the reception our Infobus sessions have received, and we thank you for all of your suggestions and comments!
At our most recent Infobus session, we discussed a handful topics such as:FEEDBACK ON CURRENT EVENTS
Overall, you all seem to be content and enjoying the current events, however some points were raised in our Infobus session that we would like to address:
GOTW Prizes (Crackable Eggs): there are currently 4 variations of crackable eggs - levels 1, 2, 3 & 4 - which increase in rarity and value. The prizes within these eggs aren't permanent, and they will be rotated every so often. A rotation is due, and we will notify you of the updated prizes once this has been actioned.
Morning / Daytime Events: we have received feedback about how events have died down during the morning and early hours of the day. However, we're already on a mission to combat this lull! We welcome 2 new event hosts to the team, who we're sure will step up and create some activity for you guys. There is always potential for new hires, so if you're interested, speak to Bop (Events Manager) or any member of management, who can bring the idea to the table!
Whilst we have various mixed events, and auto-games that can be located in the Habba Arcade, new games are in the works! Which leads us to...
EASTER ACTIVITIES
We go big, or we go home! We love seasonal events and activities, and our Creative & Events Team are hard at work planning an array of games/mazes for you to enjoy over the Easter period. Some ideas we have are and are not limited to:
Easter Egg Hunt | Mazes (including Duo mazes) | Trivia | Easter-themed Telephrase
As always, we're open to helping hands, so be sure to let us know if you'd like to contribute with a game/event of your own!
Following on from past suggestions made within our Infobus sessions, we're happy to announce that Deal or no Deal is a game currently under construction. We hope that this should be completed within a few weeks, and we'll kick it off with a big diamond jackpot prize. You won't want to miss it!
ALL ABOUT THE ECONOMY
The current Eco is always a big topic in our Infobus sessions, whether it's improvements to be made, revaluations or rares you'd like to see added to the hotel. Some points raised in this weeks Infobus session include:
Converting Currencies to Diamonds: recently, we introduced a way of converting your diamonds to credits, which can be found in the catalogue under "Economy" and "Exchange"! We hear that you'd like additional conversions, such as credits to diamonds and duckets to diamonds. This is something we definitely want to implement, and our Economy Team are aware of this request.
Multiple LTD Drops: it has been suggested that instead of one big LTD Rare Drop on Friday's, some users would like to see this split into two on different days. If we're being brutally honest, we're unsure whether this would be of much benefit. Whilst it could create more hype and excitement for some, why fix something that isn't broken? This suggestion will definitely be passed to the Economy Team for review and discussion, so feel free to reach out with your reasons as to why this would be beneficial.
LTD Drop Timing: this week, the LTD Drop time will be changed to Saturday @ 12am [BST], due to the recent time change in the UK. We hear that this time isn't convenient for some users, and whilst we are trying to cater to everyone's timezones, it unfortunately won't always be in your favour. In an effort to make this more inclusive, we will release the announcement showing what rares will be dropped & their prices earlier than usual, with a minimum of 2-hours notice. This way, you have time to decide whether it's a LTD Drop you'd like to participate in!
We're aware that many of the current rare values are dated, and our Economy Team are working hard to go through the rares and revalue them accordingly, based on recent trades and marketplace sales. Please bear with us!
As always, if there is a rare you come across that needs valuing, please approach the Economy Team directly or add your request to our 'Unvalued Rares' thread in the Habba discord server. We will get around to it as soon as we're able.
IN GENERAL HABBA LIFE...
This week's Infobus session was a lot less chaotic than last, and not many further topics were brought up for discussion.
We did say we'd keep you posted on things happening behind-the-scenes, and we've received some updates from our Developer, Az!
Currently, Az is working on general bug fixes, and some tweaks to the Habba UI (User Interface). We hope that these UI changes will be a lot more sleek... don't let us down Az. (Lol)
Keep an eye on the Technical channel located in the Habba Discord server for further updates from Az!
This month, we say goodbye to sea and Wolfy. Thank you for your service, Habbas!
On a positive note, we have some exciting new additions:
Karma - he has received a well-deserved promotion to Creative Manager! Well done, Karma!
ManToy and ling - working alongside Karma, welcome our new members of the Creative Team!
MummyMilkers - Kiara is a Habba Veteran, and has joined the staff team as Trial-Moderator. Woohoo!
Nike - having passed his trial period, Nike has been promoted to Moderator! Great job Nike!
Donjulio and Vil - welcome to the Events Team guys! We know you'll do great.
