After popular demand, we’ve created this bi-weekly article to bring you everything from staff updates to fun puzzles and fresh song recommendations. We're thrilled at the reception our Infobus sessions have received, and we thank you for all of your suggestions and comments!
At our most recent Infobus session, we discussed a handful topics such as:AUTO-GAMES
During the day, there will be what we call "lull" moments within the hotel, where there isn't much activity. It isn't always possible to host mixed events during this time, as there aren't enough active users, so we'll sometimes open an auto-game to allow users to gain diamonds and GOTW points! Fruit Game is a key example.
We understand that this can become repetitive, and over-use of auto-games is definitely something we want to avoid! We are keen to create some new auto or semi-auto games for these lull moments. We are always open to suggestions, and we will be sure to announce the release of any new games our Creative & Events team come up with.
EVENTS YOU'D LIKE TO SEE
We had a LOT of suggestions for new events at our most recent infobus! These include some old-school games, such as Don't Wake Grandma, Zombie Run, Murder Train and Project Runway. These games will be a blast from the past for many of us - let's make Habba great again!
Recently, our Economy Team have hosted a Poker Tournament, and we definitely plan to host this regularly. Another event we are currently in discussion about is Blackjack. This way, we can cater not just to our event players, but our casino & gambling community! Keep your eyes peeled!
Another topic we revisited at our most recent Infobus is off-client games, hosted within the Habba Discord voice chat. Jackbox and Skribbl.io are always a hit, and we're keen to boost activity off-client as well as on the hotel!
How would we feel about a Habba Talent Show? This was one suggestion that I thought was a really fun idea, but we need suggestions on how to execute this! You could show off your snake-run skills like jovan, your general knowledge skills like SMOD-desu OR your fast typing skills like darcy (with acrylic nails on, FYI). The list is endless! Let us know what you think!
ALL ABOUT THE ECONOMY
The current Eco is always a big topic in our Infobus sessions, whether it's improvements to be made, revaluations or rares you'd like to see added to the hotel.
Our weekly LTD drops sell out within minutes, and there is currently no limit on how many LTDs a user can purchase. We understand that this isn't exactly fair, and we plan on introducing a limit so the rares can be dispersed evenly.
Another point well made is that prior to the LTD drops, the release price of the rares are unknown, leaving users in the dark and potentially awaiting a LTD that they can't afford! We will definitely look into implementing the release of the prices prior to the drops.
We're aware that many of the current rare values are dated, and our Economy Team are working hard to go through the rares and revalue them accordingly, based on recent trades and marketplace sales. Please bear with us!
As always, if there is a rare you come across that needs valuing, please approach the Economy Team directly or add your request to our 'Unvalued Rares' thread in the Habba discord server. We will get around to it as soon as we're able.
IN GENERAL HABBA LIFE...
Behind the Scenes Updates - from time to time, Rain will announce some changes/additions to the hotel within the 'Technical' channel in the Habba discord server. Our staff members are also always willing to answer any questions you may have regarding anything behind the scenes, within reason. Don't be afraid to approach us!
Habba Tutorial for New Users - we have recently seen that a lot of our new users have migrated from a different game entirely, and Habba may not make a lot of sense to them in the early days! A tutorial would be a great idea, whether this be a written guide or an in-game tutorial. This is something we will definitely look to implement.
This month, we say goodbye to meth, Cecilie and pussy. Thank you for your service, Habbas!
